GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana) Cultural Park is a cultural park with one of the tallest monumental statues in the world with a height of 121 meters. Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue depicts the god Vishnu riding an eagle. In Hindu mythology, God Vishnu is seen as the protector of the universe. Kecak Dance Performance is a spectacular traditional dance played by a group of people sitting in a circle in the middle of the stage with great enthusiasm and energy playing a dance with fire. The dance is very exciting and unique because the sound of the gamelan does not use the usual gamelan but uses the mouth. The dancers make a unified chorus with beautiful dance moves which are one of the characteristics of this dance. With saying the word “cak cak cak” continuously as the sound rhythm between them will appear like music accompanying the main dancer. Kecak dance tells the story of Ramayana and Dewi Sinta which comes from an Indian story.
